let me teach you how to knit
I learned to knit as a child, but never got much further than knit stitch. I spent 20 years knitting garter stitch scarves and - when I got tired of that - potholders.
After the birth of my second child, knitting became a way for me to connect to myself. I wanted to make something with my hands, and I found myself gravitating back to knitting. With the support of a friend, I cast on my first garment, and I haven’t stopped knitting since.
I am so thankful for knitting and the community it allows me to be a small part of. I love to knit, and I love to share that with others.
