Adult patterns in this series are size-inclusive and designed to fit bust sizes ranging from 29 to 59 inches. In our first session we will take measurements, discuss size choice, and cast on. Knit a Raglan Sweater (Mini) 4/4

Description

In this four-week course, you will knit a tiny sweater and we will all squeal with glee over how cute it is. Whether you have a baby or small child to knit for in your life or not, practicing on a smaller scale can be a great way to learn to knit larger garments for yourself without the time and cost commitment. The first class we will cast on using the German twisted cast on, and begin knitting the raglan with cables and increases. The second class we will cover putting the sleeves on hold and knitting the body. The third class you will learn how to knit ribbing for the body and collar and how to bind off. In our last class we will put a sleeve back on the needles and learn the basics of decreasing and choose a ribbing length.

We will meet on Wednesdays, February 26, March 5, March 12, and March 19, from 6:30 to 8.
