Description
In this three-week course, you will learn the skills you need to level up your knitting. You’ll learn how to long-tail cast on, how to M1L and M1R knit and purl increases and K2TOG and SSK decreases, and how to do the ever-useful Italian tubular bind off. We will practice fixing mistakes, like a dropped stitch or an accidental yarn over, and workshop tension and gauge issues as needed. This class is taught in English-style knitting and is a great fit for those who have taken Maggie’s Knitting 101 (previously Learn to Knit).
This class is intended for adults. If you are interested in private knitting lessons for children, please shoot me an email!
We will meet on Sundays, October 12, 19, and 26 from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon.
Skill level: Beginner knitter. You know how to knit and purl. This class will cover a lot of new skills but is not intended to teach you how to knit. Check out Knitting 101 if you have never knit before.
