Description
In this three-week course, you will learn the basics of knitting. You’ll learn how to cast on, knit and purl stitches, how to knit garter and stockinette stitch flat, and how to bind off. You’ll practice weaving in ends and how to finish a project. This class is taught in English-style knitting and is a great fit for those who have never taken a knitting course or need a refresher. The first class will cover casting on and knit and purl stitches. The second class will teach you garter and stockinette stitches and how to bind off. The third class will be open-stitch style to allow you to practice your skills and include instructions for ribbing and a bonus stitch.
We will meet on Sundays, May 4, 11, and 18.
