Description
In this five-week course, you will knit a sweater of your choice - The Holger or The Olga by Petite Knit. Each design comes in many variations: Holger Baby Set (this pattern includes pants but the class will only cover the sweater), Holger Sweater (Toddler/Kid), Holger Cardigan (Toddler/Kid), Holger Man, Olga Sweater, and Olga Cardigan. Adult patterns in this series are size-inclusive and designed to fit bust sizes ranging from 29 to 59 inches. In our first session we will take measurements, discuss size choice, and cast on. The second class we will begin knitting the shoulders and discuss joining in the round. We will have a week off to allow time to knit both shoulders, join in the round (cardigans are knit flat and will not join in the round), and begin knitting the body. During the third class we will pick up stitches for the sleeve and discuss decreases. During our last class we will choose ribbing lengths and learn to bind off.
We will meet on Wednesdays, April 9, 16, 30, and May 7 (skipping April 23), from 6:30 to 8 pm.

Skill level: Confident beginner. Must know how to cast on, knit and purl.
