Description

In this four-week course, you will knit a tiny sweater and we will all squeal with glee over how cute it is. Whether you have a baby or small child to knit for in your life or not, practicing on a smaller scale can be a great way to learn to knit larger garments for yourself without the time and cost commitment. The first class we will cast on using the German twisted cast on, and begin knitting the raglan with cables and increases. The second class we will cover putting the sleeves on hold and knitting the body. The third class you will learn how to knit ribbing for the body and collar and how to bind off. In our last class we will put a sleeve back on the needles and learn the basics of decreasing and choose a ribbing length.

We will meet on Wednesdays, February 26, March 5, March 12, and March 19, from 6:30 to 8.

This class is intended for adults. If you are interested in private knitting lessons for children, shoot me an email!

Skill level: Confident beginner. Must know how to cast on, knit and purl. Knowledge of how to cable is great but not necessary.
